この規格は鉄鋼の型鍛造品において，製品図中に個々に公差が指示されていない各部鍛造寸法及び型ずれ， ばり残りなどに適用する公差（以下普通公差という。）について規定する。これらの普通公差は主として粗型 材図に指示される。

備考1．製品性能，機械加工，鍛造加工などの上から，この規格の既定値を適用できない場合には， これと異なる寸法許容差，許容値を関係図面に指示する。

This standard specifies general tolerances, which are not shown in the drawing of a forged steel part but shall apply to such specifications as dimensions, mismatch, residual flash of a forged part. These general tolerances shall be shown in a drawing of a forged part.

Remarks 1. If it is found inappropriate to apply the tolerances herein to a forged part for the reasons of product performance and/or machining/forging process capability, the appropriate tolerances shall be shown in the concerned forged part drawings.
